Leadership

Gregory Keith Bell has been in the electrical field since 1976. He founded Intex Electrical Contractors, Inc. in November, 1983 at the young age of twenty-one. He has served as President of Intex Electrical from 1983 through today.

Keith holds a valid Master’s License in the State of Texas and is currently the chairman of the Texas Electrical Safety Licensing Advisory Board and has held this position since its inception in 2002. He is active in trade organizations including a two year term as President of the Dallas Chapter of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association (IEC) in 1997-1998. He served as the State of Texas IEC Chapter President from 2001 to 2002.

Keith is also involved in the IEC’s political efforts regionally and nationally as the Governmental Affairs Chairman for the past decade. He remains active in his community serving as President of the Forney ISD School Board first elected in 1998, and as a past President of Forney Education Leadership Foundation, of which he was one of the original founders. While living this very busy life, he has currently found time to return to college to future his education.

Brad has been in the electrical industry since 1993, starting his career in the electrical field with Intex through the Career and Technical Education program at Mesquite ISD. After graduating, he moved into a full-time position as an electrical apprentice and electrician and later moved into estimating and project management.

He has experience with installation, sales, and management of projects ranging from small tenant improvement projects to large new construction projects in excess of $20M in both the private and public markets.

Brad currently serves as our Director of Preconstruction Services and Business Development as well as our Safety and Recruiting departments. Additionally, he serves on the Government Affairs and High School Outreach committees of TEXO and works to help the next generation of trade professionals plan their careers in the construction industry.

Kacey Currington has been in the construction industry since 1997. She received her accounting degree from University of North Texas. Kacey started with Intex Electrical in 2000 as the Accounts Receivable manager and was promoted to serve as Controller in early 2004. She now serves as the Director of Finance responsible for managing the day-to-day operations involving all accounting functions.

Kacey brought to Intex extensive knowledge of the general contractor arena, having served as Project Accountant and Accounts Payable manager for prior general contractors in the Dallas/FT Worth area. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Doug Crotty has been in the Electrical industry since 1996. He began his career with Intex in 1997 as an apprentice and served as a Foreman from 1999 to 2005. In 2005 Intex created a Construction Group and Doug began his role as Senior Project Manager, overseeing projects from $250K to $8.5 million. He is responsible for all aspects of the projects and manpower within the department.

Doug has managed a variety of Projects from Institutional (K-12), medical, communication facilities, and community colleges and is proficient in Building Information Modeling. Doug is also active in his church serving as a coach in the Upward League and on the missions team.

Landon Flax is a Certified Public Accountant and seasoned business analytics professional. He received degrees in Accounting and Business Management from Ouachita Baptist University. Since joining Intex in 2022, he has served as the Director of Analytics and Compliance, where he leverages his analytical expertise to support and enhance corporate operations through data-driven decision making.

Landon’s professional experience includes providing a wide array of business and tax services to corporations and partnerships in various industries. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends, and serving in his local church.
