Gregory Keith Bell
President and CEO
Gregory Keith Bell has been in the electrical field since 1976. He founded Intex Electrical Contractors, Inc. in November, 1983 at the young age of twenty-one. He has served as President of Intex Electrical from 1983 through today. Keith holds a valid Master’s License in the State of Texas and is currently the chairman of the Texas Electrical Safety Licensing Advisory Board and has held this position since its inception in 2002. He is active in trade organizations including a two year term as President of the Dallas Chapter of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association (IEC) in 1997-1998. He served as the State of Texas IEC Chapter President from 2001 to 2002. Keith is also involved in the IEC’s political efforts regionally and nationally as the Governmental Affairs Chairman for the past decade. He remains active in his community serving as President of the Forney ISD School Board first elected in 1998, and as a past President of Forney Education Leadership Foundation, of which he was one of the original founders. While living this very busy life, he has currently found time to return to college to future his education.
Kacey Currington has been in the construction industry since 1997. She currently has a degree in accounting from the University of North Texas. Kacey started with Intex Electrical in 2000 as the Accounts Receivable manager and was promoted to serve as Controller in early 2004. Kacey brought to Intex extensive knowledge of the general contractor arena, having served as Project Accountant and Accounts Payable manager for prior general contractors in the Dallas/FT Worth area. She is responsible for managing the day to day operations involving all accounting functions. Kacey is currently active in her community running herself crazy driving her children from county to county to participate in activities that will eventually allow them to achieve their full potential as she has.
Ivan Kanev, P.E.
Ivan Kanev has over 15 years of experience in the electrical industry in The USA and Europe. He joined the Intex team in 2012 to complete our Design Build Group and further complement our commitment to customer service. He is responsible for engineering, estimating, designing, CAD drawing and sealing of the electrical drawings for small to multimillion dollar industrial and commercial projects. Ivan holds a Professional Engineer License in State of Texas, a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering Science, and a State of Texas Electrical Master License.
Alan Nelson has been involved in the Electrical business since 1979, joining the Intex family in 1995 as a field superintendent. In 2007 Alan was recognized for his great accomplishments and was moved into the office to the estimating department, where he currently is the Senior Estimator. He is licensed by the state of Texas as a Journeyman Electrician. His duties include estimating, budget and pre-construction services. Alan is active in the community as a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Forney, and can be found at the local youth basketball court where he donates his time as a referee.
Construction Group Manager
Doug Crotty has been in the Electrical industry since 1996. He began his career with Intex in 1997 as an apprentice and served as a Foreman from 1999 to 2005. In 2005 Intex created a Construction Group and Doug began his role as Senior Project Manager, overseeing projects from $250K to $8.5 million. He is responsible for all aspects of the projects and manpower within the department. Doug has managed a variety of Projects from Institutional (K-12), medical, communication facilities, and community colleges and is proficient in Building Information Modeling. Doug is also active in his church serving as a coach in the Upward League and on the missions team.
Andrew Moreno joined the “Intex” team in August 2012. After working for the rest, he decided to join the best. With over three decades in the electrical industry, having run several successful businesses over the years with others, Andrew provides leadership and direction and project manages the Design Build Group projects. Andrew has served in many capacities in both local & national trade organizations and municipalities. He has been a Master electrician since 1999. Andrew’s passion is certainly to the electrical industry, however more to the people in this business and he enjoys sharing his insight and finding solutions to all challenges both professionally & personal. In his spare time you can find Andy fishing, gardening, bargain shopping or wine collecting. Born & raised in Mesquite, Texas and very active in both civic and moral conscience issues.
SPG and Service Department Manager
Chris McFarland was employed in the electrical trade for 13 years prior to joining the Intex team in 2007. With his high energy and do anything attitude, he was quickly moved to the role of Service Department Manager. He now is currently responsible for managing the Special Projects Group and the Service Department. Chris created the Special Projects Group in 2011 to accommodate the needs of an ever growing Customer Base. Projects completed to date range from service calls to projects exceeding over One Million dollars. Chris continues to expand his work force, and has consistently grown his department by exceeding sales goals year after year. In his spare time Chris enjoys time with friends and family being outdoors.
Residential Department Manager
Greg Paschall has over 36 years of experience in the electrical industry. He started with TXU-Oncor in 1976 and worked with them until he started the Residential Division with Intex in 2001. His department works within a wide range of residential projects including high-end residential, multi-family dwelling, service calls, solar energy and wind harvesting. Greg is also responsible for the appropriate management of scheduling, manpower, materials, equipment, and tools, while providing Intex his expertise as a utility consultant. In his spare time he can be found on the golf course with his buddies or at the lake with his family.
Residential Service Manager
Ray Morris has over 20 years of experience in the electrical trade industry. He joined Intex in 2003 where his country charm, positive attitude, and vast knowledge saw him rise through the ranks. In 2014, Intex created a Residential Service division and Ray began his role as the Residential Service manager. His department works in many custom homes in the DFW area; answering service calls, diagnostics and repairs, electrical inspections, lighting fixture repair, smoke detector replacement, etc. Ray is also responsible for the appropriate scheduling of service calls, manpower, training, materials, equipment and tools. In his spare time, Ray is very active with his family and loves to be outdoors or racing.
