Intex' electrical service division was established as a spin-off of
the construction division in 1995. Intex perceived a market for highly
responsive service work completed with properly trained technicians. Our service division offers a full range
of services including residential, commercial, bucket truck
services (exterior lighting) and infrared scanning services (including
reports and repairs). The service
department is radio dispatched and available 24/7/365. The
service department also handles small construction projects (up to
$100,000). Service department
employees are dispatched in an Intex vehicle and all service department
employees are licensed, badged, drug tested, and background screened. Service work is completed based on
either an accepted proposal or on a time & material basis.
Intex is a certified minority business enterprise (MBE) by the MBE
Clearinghouse and therefore a preferred vendor for universities,
municipalities and other state and federally funded projects.
In addition, Intex is a certified Historically Underutlized Business (HUB), per the State of Texas.
